The FS Caption on my account is wrong. How can I change it?

Once an account is set up in ART, the FS Caption cannot be changed.  So, if an account has been set up incorrectly, that account can be made to be non-reconcilable and a new account can be set up with the correct FS Caption.

To make an account non-reconcilable, go to Accounts > Account Mass / Bulk update and use the search parameters to locate the account and click on Search and Bulk Update.  

Check the checkbox to the left of the account to allow it to be edited.  Uncheck the box under the attribute called "Reconcilable" and click Save.

That will make it so that that account no longer is available to be reconciled.

To create a new account, include the new account in the GL import file with your next GL import.  Include the CORRECT FS Caption, Account Type and Is P&L.  This iwill allow the account to be set up correctly.  Once successfully imported, don't forget to assign ownership and attributes to it.
