Sometimes additional information may be needed for getting the most out of the Amortization and Accrual Forms and there are now customizable fields for this.
For example, if using the Excel export form the Amortization schedules to prepare the month end journal entry, the expense account number to which the current amortization amount should be debited would be helpful.
To customize these fields to be used, go to System Control > Rules and Checklists. Scroll to the bottom of the page to where the section is for 'Custom Fields for Amortizable/Accrual'
There will be two custom field boxes that can be renamed.
Once named, those fields will be available within the set up of an amortization scheuled and within the form.
