I'm not able to re-open an account reconciliation

When re-opening an account reconciliation, go to the Account Viewer and find the account reconciliation to be re-opened. Then check the checkbox to the left of that account and click on the button for Reopen.


The reasons why an account may not be able to be re-opened are:

  • It's not complete (in a reconciled or system reconciled status)
  • The period is closed
  • More recent reconciliations for the same account are not open
